Cafe 55 @ Jalan Sultan , Kuala Lumpur

It has been quite a while I ventured down into Jalan Sultan near Chinatown Kuala Lumpur. I know there has been so many changes around that area with new Cafes and hostels coming up. One fine day I and Jonathan decided to go to this quaint Café in Jalan Sultan for our breakfast and wow this place is like in the olden days with its old-world charm atmosphere. It’s kind of nostalgic to see the front entrance of Café 55 so humble and full of character from the past. I use to drive pass here when sending and fetching my son Jonathan to his school, Methodist Boys School just around the corner. This place evolved into a place of interest, whereas previously it is kind of sedentary with nothing much to look forward to.

Petronas Twin Tower

Driving pass the Petronas Twin Tower in the evening, I took the chance to take a quick snapshot from the car. Every day when I drive pass this iconic tower, I see a lot of tourists taking snapshots of it. It is a sight to behold.  I use to do my brisk walking exercises at the beautiful klcc park, but now the crowd is just too much for me.  The park is full of greenery 50 acres in size. I always love the varieties of tree and orchids. The next time I go to klcc I will take a few pictures to upload.

In the evening

Playful Monkeys in the City Centre

I live in Kuala Lumpur city centre and despite it being in the city, there are still a bit of a forest at the back of my Condo building. I like it for the mere fact that I can always look out through my windows and find trees and plant creepers all over that area. This little forest also is home to some grey haired, long tail monkeys.  They will hop along the top of the fencing surrounding the Condo building. They usually will come in group and you can see them in actions when that happens. They look cute, but maybe a little bit intimidating too.
