May this year 2026, we went for a trip to The Tip of Borneo, also known as Simpang Mengayau. I had often heard about it but even though I am from Sabah I have never visited it, then my cousin Alex offered to drive us up to Kudat town from Kota Kinabalu about three hours journey, and at the same time to visit this place. It is the Northern Point of Borneo. It was hot and humid and the journey took quite a while to reach. It has some sort of Visitors centre and the walk after the car ride was a short distance until you see the beautiful view of the Northern Tip of Borneo. Totally worth the trip for us.

Thick Cloud over KLCC
It is now rainy season in Malaysia, it is the North East Monsoon period and here in Kuala Lumpur, in the morning it can be very sunny and hot, whereas in the afternoon the sky will gradually darkened and intermittent thunder can be heard before the rain falls. Some places in Kuala Lumpur will experienced flash flood after a heavy downpour, the good thing is, it's not so hot then, the water will subside but it's most inconvenient for people to go about their tasks.
I was at the KLCC having my breakfast in the food court today, as I looked out the window, I couldn"t help taking some pictures of the sky over KLCC, thick with heavy rolling clouds.
