Mother's Day on 12th May 2019

Mother’s Day was celebrated on May 12th 2019 and I am glad my family back home at my mom’s place did a nice celebration for the occasion. I wished I were there with all of them, but seeing the pictures they send convinced me the more that all moms are irreplaceable, resilient and amazing ladies. Through the years my mom has been an amazing lady, I wish her everything good in life and happiness every day. To my eldest sister Veron and to my sister in law Marilyn, you all did a good job.

Palm Spring California Cactus Flowers

As I was going through my picture album on my computer just the other day, I came across some beautiful photographs send my Uncle Albert in the USA. How cool is that to have someone related to you send some nice pictures of the surrounding area that they call it home. I have heard much about Palm Spring, in the State of California. This area is like a resort in the desert, awesome kind of living. More awesome are the varieties of cactus plants bearing flowers, it looks so beautiful. Here are some of the beautiful Cactus flowers courtesy of Uncle Albert from Palm Spring, California.

Cafe 55 @ Jalan Sultan , Kuala Lumpur

It has been quite a while I ventured down into Jalan Sultan near Chinatown Kuala Lumpur. I know there has been so many changes around that area with new Cafes and hostels coming up. One fine day I and Jonathan decided to go to this quaint Café in Jalan Sultan for our breakfast and wow this place is like in the olden days with its old-world charm atmosphere. It’s kind of nostalgic to see the front entrance of Café 55 so humble and full of character from the past. I use to drive pass here when sending and fetching my son Jonathan to his school, Methodist Boys School just around the corner. This place evolved into a place of interest, whereas previously it is kind of sedentary with nothing much to look forward to.
