Photography

The other day a friend dropped by and I asked him why was he so late and he answered he has got a meeting, when I probed further he told us that he actually has got a meeting with his Photography Club. I went on to say wow that was nice learning about photography and of course a person joins this sort of club for various reasons obviously. You can learn and interact at the same time, but what if a person just wants to learn Photography themselves? Will it be difficult? People tend to think that you must attend a professional course or at least a club but I think at this age where everything is just a click away a determined person can learn just about anything through self taught or the internet. It is of course to a person’s advantage if there were courses available and meeting with a group is always fun and hands-on is the way to go. Some of the great photographers are self taught and their works get snapped up by famous magazines, so to me, it is up to a person’s ability to produce great things and everyone is entitled to their own ways of grasping and learning things, to me, knowledge is acquired through great determination, you read up, you go out and practice and through the trails and errors you correct yourself. That is the fun way of photography, there is no fast rules!
