Christmas Card Collections

I have been collecting past Christmas cards for nearly 25 years until the digital age caught up and now I am glad that I had a nice collection of it. Nowadays family and friends rarely  sent Christmas card greeting but the greeting came as short message service or the digital e- card virtually. Gone were the days when I anxiously awaits the postman to deliver the cards to my mail box. Well, it all boils down to choices; you can choose to send a real card or digital e-card or just a short message service to greet your loved one and friends. The e- card came in various designs and undeniably eye catching and convenient.

Seashell

I like to do all sorts of craft provided it is not time consuming and complicated. As such this framed Seashell was what I like to do. You will need to just buy the deep frame, craft glue and seashells or accessories you would like to use. You can design the pattern in ways that appeal to you and bingo your very own beautifully framed seashell.

Through The Looking Glass

Through the looking glass, that is an interesting observation. When I travelled I like to stop awhile and observe things around me. These were all the things that I had observed through the looking glass and it is an interesting piece of information when all has been said and done and you have got the time to reflect, you will be surprise to see how much information can be gathered just by looking at the picture, I like the idea of through the looking glass.

Antique Cooking Pot

When I visited my mom recently, she saw me taking photographs all over the house, she then told me about these old cooking pots that my father bought back a few years ago from his village. She told me my father remembered his mother use it to cook. With this type of handle it definitely need to have an iron crane bracket fixed to the wall to swing out to support the pot. That was a great find for me; I could not help but wondered that such an old item can still be found around the family house, it gives an insight to those yesteryear's of  people’s life.

Heidi's Pincushion From Switzerland

This Pincushion looks so cute; it was a picture of Heidi the story of an orphaned girl who lives with his grandfather in the Swiss Alps. I had it bought from Switzerland. I like it because it is quaint and beautiful to look at. The other item was chopsticks from China. Both made a lovely decorative item.
